Old-Time, Celtic Artists Do Their Traditions Proud

SEATTLE, WA – December 30, 2025 – SuperSonic Arts, the boutique radio promotion firm for old-time, Celtic, and other forms of trad and contemporary folk music, is proud to announce that its 2025 roster has achieved unprecedented critical acclaim. From the tight vocals and driving strings of The Onlies to the architectural bluegrass of Eli West, SuperSonic Arts artists have secured top positions on national radio charts and prestigious year-end “Best Of” lists from Magnet Magazine, The Bluegrass Situation, and Bandcamp.

These, along with releases from The Horsenecks, Eloise & Co., and Leo Shannon/Sarah Kate Morgan, have permeated the airwaves across North America and beyond, proving that traditional music—be it Old-Time, Celtic, even Bal Folk!—remains a vibrant and evolving force in the modern music landscape.

2025 Roster Highlights:

  • The Onlies (You Climb The Mountain): Hailed as “the best old-time stringband out there” by Songlines UK, the album was named a Best Country Music of 2025 selection by Bandcamp and reached #10 on the National Folk Radio Charts.
  • Eli West (The Shape of a Sway): Reaching #7 on the National Folk Radio Charts, West was recognized by Magnet Magazine as a Top 10 Indie Roots artist of the year for his “architectural” approach to bluegrass.
  • The Horsenecks (In The West): Selected by Listening Through The Lens as a Top Six Album of 2025, the duo’s blend of “twangy, tough, and tall” music became a mainstay on stations like WTJU and Bluegrass Country.
  • Eloise & Co. (avec Elodie): Bridging the gap between New England traditions and European Bal Folk, the trio secured a spot in The Rogue Folk Club’s Top 50 Albums of 2025 and was a featured 2025 favorite on the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast.
  • Leo Shannon & Sarah Kate Morgan (Featherbed): This “stunning debut” was lauded by The Bluegrass Situation and Bandcamp for its mastery of the mountain dulcimer and fiddle, marking the duo as the future of Appalachian music.

“At SuperSonic Arts, our mission is to ensure that world-class traditional music finds its way to the ears of passionate listeners everywhere,” says founder Tom Braman. “Seeing our artists recognized by the most discerning critics in the industry is a testament to the enduring power of these genres and the incredible talent of the musicians we represent.”
