Who we are

We are SuperSonic Arts, at https://SuperSonicArts.com. On behalf of great artist-clients, we promote folk music recordings to public, community, and college radio stations who play folk, old-time, country, bluegrass, Americana, newgrass, and Celtic music.

Collected data

We collect data that users submit to us via online forms. Also, visitors’ IP address and browser user-agent strings are captured to help spam detection.

Visitors who fill out online forms may opt-in to saving their names, email addresses and websites in cookies. This convenience exists so users do not have to fill in such details again when they submit additional data. These cookies will last for one year.

If users visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if their browsers accept cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when they close their browsers.

If/when a user needs to log in, we will also set up several cookies to save the user’s login information and screen-display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen-options cookies last for a year. If users select “Remember Me,” their logins will persist for two weeks. If they log out of the accounts, login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

With whom we share user data: No-one!

We do not share user data with anyone, except when required by law.

How long we retain data

Form submission data is retained indefinitely, or until a user request it be deleted or until we determine the data no longer holds business value.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights users have over their data

Users who have an account on this site, or have submitted data, can request to receive an exported file of the data we hold about them, including any data they have provided to us. They can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about them. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where user data is sent

Visitor comments/data submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
